The Horizon admin notes that a session did appear on the server despite my not seeing anything to that fact on my end.Īt this point, I am remote connecting to a Windows system from my Mac and running Horizon RDP from there. If I try Horizon using HTML access via Safari, I can remote connect to my system in the office and the local Mac Horizon client will display a pop-up that I have disconnected my session. The VMware Horizon Client offers better performance and features. Select Download and Install to start the upgrade. A new window will display if a newer version of the Horizon client is available. From the list of options select software updates. Select the options Icon on the top right-hand side. I checked all Privacy settings to see if any new Horizon entries appeared (that I needed to allow) but nothing new appeared here. You can connect to your desktop and applications by using the VMware Horizon Client or through the browser. Procedure: Open the VMware Horizon client on a Windows client machine. ![]() I went and updated the Horizon client to the latest version on VMware's site but no change. Invalid launch request, please contact your administrator.
